If you are not tired yet of corrupt politicians and the rage of the common man, here's one more take on Indian cinema's biggest cliches: This time, Tamil stars Jai and Surabhi are coming together for director Manimaran's Pugazh (fame). The trailer of the film was released on Wednesday.

Watch trailer here:

The two-minute-long trailer opens with Pugazh (Jai) as the boy-next-door who idles away his time fooling around with friends, taking part in mindless eating competitions, singin ’n dancing by the beach and wooing his lady love. His life is turned upside down after an encounter with 'powerful' group of goons, leading to a lockout at the shop where he works.

The rest of the trailer is about what we've seen so many times: corrupt politicians using Pugazh as a pawn in their nefarious activities. The film looks nothing more than a regular masala potboiler about the corruption in the system and how gullible young men get manipulated by politicians.

The film’s music is by Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon of the Vadacurry fame and is produced by Sushanth Prasadh.
