The city audience is getting a full dose of entertainment at the ongoing Old World Theatre Festival, organised by Hindustan Times.
The city audience is getting a full dose of entertainment at the ongoing Old World Theatre Festival, organised by Hindustan Times. Titled, Festival of Humour, it features comedians such as Papa CJ and Vir Das.
On Thursday, the performance by Papa CJ at India Habitat Center saw him in his typical style of comic timing that left the crowd asking for more. The proceeds of the show, went to a charity run by him, Great comedy for a great cause. “Comedy with a great cause makes you feel great in more ways than one,” he says.
The evening also introduced five budding comedians.
While Neeti Palta performed on the theme of female stereotype, former RJ, Abhish Mathews, showed that he can entertain in person too.
Today, the festival will see Vir Das with his rock comedy band, Alien Chutney. Papa Cj, too, will be performing, today, at HT City Crystal awards for excellence in food and beverage.
