Leading the charge is Mallika-e-ghazal (Empress of Ghazals) Farida Khanum. Lending their sarod to the cause are Khan brothers Amaan and Ayan Ali. Ghazal singer Anita Singhvi, wife of Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, will perform with Khanum.
Another big attraction of the concert, hosted by Hindustan Times and Fever 104 FM with the Indian Council of Cultural Relations, is popular Pakistani singer Ziauddin Muhhamad.
