Pop diva Madonna has recorded a song for the Live Earth organisation and will be releasing it before performing it live at the July 7 Wembley concert.

Madge has teamed up with hip-hop legend Pharrell Williams for the song ‘Hey You’, reports The Sun. And Madge wants the composition to reach music lovers well in advance of the concert so that it becomes an anthem on the big day.

Madonna has been collaborating with Pharrell on tracks for her forthcoming album.

It is scheduled for a November release and will also include songs she has written with legendary artist/producer Timbaland.

The Live Earth shows, which are a medium to highlight the importance of climate change, will be held on July 7 in seven different places of the world. Others who would be joining Madonna for the London show at Wembley stadium include Genesis, James Blunt, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol and Razorlight.
