A statue of Queen Victoria and Captain Cook are among others that have been adorned with fancy costumes as part of the ‘City of Sydney Art and About Festival’.

Under the ‘Statues Project’, eight of the city’s most prominent public sculptures have been clothed by established and emerging Sydney textile artists and fashion and costume designers. This unique and diverse art festival opened on September 23 and will be on till October 24.
