The MP Bhoj Open University might soon launch courses, especially in education faculty, for the army personnel in state.For this a study centre of the university is likely to be opened at Army Education Corps Centre in Pachmarhi.
On Tuesday, Maj Gen Sunil Chandra, additional director of military headquarters, New Delhi, paid a courtesy visit to the university and met the vice-chancellor Tariq Zafar and registrar Anand Kamble.
The Major General urged the university authorities to start courses like M Ed and B Ed in education faculty and B Ed and MBA courses under special education at the Army Education Corps.
Zafar said that it is a matter of pride for the university to conduct courses for Indian Army and best efforts would be made to start the courses for army personnel at earliest.
