Though police suspects the deceased's personal enmity with certain persons to be the reason behind his murder, it has still not been able to find any clues in the case.

Additional superintendent of police (ASP), Riyaz Iqbal, who is supervising the investigation, said the preliminary investigation had revealed the deceased, Ramdayal Bele, had boarded a private bus from Raisen but they had not yet established where he alighted.

"We are conducting the investigation from all possible angles and will solve the murder mystery," he said. Three separate teams had been formed to probe the case, he added.

Meanwhile, the police on Friday recorded the statement of Prashant Sahu - whom Bele's family members had accused of threatening Bele.
The police are also in the process of obtaining call records and other details of Bele's mobile phone.

Bele's body had been found on Wednesday night by a security guard at the Bora factory. There were over 12 wounds on Bele's body, which suggested that he had been attacked with sharp-edged weapons.
