A print of the documentary 'Sheeshon Ka Mahal' is no longer available with the organisation, they said.

Madhyam is a wing of the state government's Public Relations Department.

When asked about the condition of the print, they said that at this stage, it cannot be said for sure whether the print has been damaged or permanently lost.

'Sheeshon Ka Mahal' is a documentary film based on the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy, which killed over 15,000 people and lakhs affected. The film is being made by noted filmmaker Muzaffar Ali.

On the film's screening, Ali told PTI that a decision on this would have to be taken by Madhyam alone.

"I just made the film for Madhyam and it must now decide when it can be released," Ali said.

The filmmaker also said that he would be approaching Doordarshan with a request that the documentary be screened at least on national television to make people aware of what happened during and after the tragedy.
