Former OSD to MP governor held in sub-inspector recruitment scam

The Special Task Force on Friday arrested former officer-on-special-duty (OSD) to governor, Dhanraj Yadav, in connection with the 2012 sub-inspector (SI) recruitment scam.

The Special Task Force on Friday arrested former officer-on-special-duty (OSD) to governor, Dhanraj Yadav, in connection with the 2012 sub-inspector (SI) recruitment scam.

Dhanraj was produced in the court and was remanded to STF custody till January 27.

According to STF sources, Yadav had fraudulently recruited at least three candidates as SI by conniving with former controller of exams Pankaj Trivedi.

Pankaj Trivedi, during interrogation, had informed the STF officials that Yadav had recommended the names of the three persons for recruitment as SI in Madhya Pradesh Police. He is also the accused in the contract teachers’ recruitment for grade 2 and 3 scams.
