City-based artist Wajid Khan has created an out-of-the-box art installation by using automobiles' spare parts. Wajid had earlier earned widespread acclaim for making outstanding nail art, which found a place in Golden Book of World Records in 2012.
"I always like to showcase art in different forms whether it is nail art or creating the world's first 3D painting. I believe in taking my art to new dimensions every single time," said Wajid.
Talking about his recent creation, the young innovator said, "The idea of creating a painting using the spare parts of automobiles came after I saw unutilised and mundane things lying in junkyards and then and there I thought why not utilise them in my next creation."
Creating such unique creations comes naturally to Wajid. He aims to create more of such works of art. When asked what was the reason behind portraying a horse and a jockey in his latest creation Wajid said, "In my family we used to have a horse named Champa. I use to love that horse and always wanted to dedicate one of my creations to him."
The creation was made using spares parts of different vehicles like Mercedes Benz, Hero Honda, Passion Plus bike. Wajid has found a place for all these varied parts in his canvas and created a masterpiece that doesn't fail to impress the onlookers.
Carving such amazing art-pieces is not a joke as it took Wajid around nine months to complete his latest art work. "My friends and I used to work intensively for around 12 to 13 hours a day but now after seeing the final product I am more than happy as all the sweat and blood that we gave to it was worth it."
Talking about his future plans Wajid said, "Creating art is my passion and I have plans of taking my art to the rest of the world."
