MP cabinet relaxes eligibility criterion for admin officers
The MP cabinet Thursday gave its nod to a proposal of granting a senior selection grade to the state administrative officers who have completed four years of their service in selection grade instead of the mandatory eligibility criterion of six years.
However, the relaxation in the eligibility criterion will be given only once for 2016 and 2017.
The cabinet also decided that three posts of super time scale be used in the senior selection grade for effective management of state administrative service cadre and for filling the vacant posts.
Promotion of naib tehsildars
It was also decided that the eligibility of five years of service be reduced to three years for promotion of naib tehsildars to the post of tehsildars. However, this exemption is to be granted only once.
Another relaxation in mandatory eligibility of five years in service was reduced to three years for promotion to the post of finance controller/director from the post of additional director in the finance department.
Rs 1626.27 crore for three irrigation projects
The cabinet sanctioned to Rs 1626.27 crore for three irrigation projects which will irrigate 79,990 hectares of land of 883 villages.
As many as 28 posts, including 16 posts of lecturer ranks, were sanctioned to run the Institute for Training of Trainers (ITOT) on Model ITI, Bhopal campus, under the technical education and skill development department.
