MP: Seven killed in wall collapse in Narsinghpur

Seven persons were killed and three injured when the wall of an under-construction warehouse collapsed in Narsinghpur district on Tuesday.

Seven persons were killed while three others were injured when the wall of an under-construction warehouse collapsed in Narsinghpur district on Tuesday.

According to the police, the incident occurred Salichouka in the district. A back-hoe machine hit the wall accidentally while spreading soil on one side of the wall.

The labourers were engaged in work on the other side. As the wall collapsed, these labourer got buried under the wall, the police said.

The labourers who died in the mishap were identified as Kishori, Megraj, Pannu, Sukhraj, Mohan, Ramesh and Rajesh. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the mishap.
