MP: Teenaged girl kidnapped from Bhind, gang-raped

A 16-year-old girl hailing from Datia, was kidnapped and gang-raped, said police. She was made captive and taken to different cities where she was repeatedly gang-raped.

When the girl became pregnant the accused left her near her village and escaped.

According to police, Chandrabhan Kushwaha, 20, along with two others--Halke, 19, and Prakash, 26, kidnapped the girl when she had gone to attend nature's call. Later, two more persons--Devendra Dheemar and Sonu also reached there.

The five persons gang raped her. They took along her to Delhi, Jhansi and Kanpur.

The victim is eight months pregnant. In her statement to police, she said that the accused sexually exploited her for almost one year. Police have registered kidnapping and gang rape case against the five persons. A manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
