Not much difference in policies of Cong and BJP: Sandeep Pandey

Ramon Magasaysay award winner Sandeep Pandey today said even if the BJP comes to power in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the policies of the central government would not change.
Ramon Magasaysay award winner Sandeep Pandey on Monday said even if the BJP comes to power in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the policies of the central government would not change.
"Right now the BJP is opposing the Centre for its policies but it may pursue the same on coming to power," Pandey told reporters in Bhopal.
There is not much difference between the Congress and the BJP in matters of policies, he said adding that a "new honest" political alternative to the Congress and the BJP would be better for the country.
The decision of the central government to allow FDI in multi-brand retail is against the interests of the common man, including small traders, he said.
