Upset over boyfriend's death Class 8 girl kills self in Bhopal

A Class 8 student in Bhopal committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan of her residence near Ghoda Nakkas under Hanumanganj police station allegedly after the death of her boyfriend, police said on Friday.

The girl, Diksha Jharia, 15, used a scarf to hang herself when her parents were not at home, police said.

Investigation office, RS Dangi, told reporters that police have recovered a handwritten suicide note from the crime site, where the girl had said that she had no will to live after death of her boyfriend Naresh Sen.

An engineering graduate, Sen, 22, had committed suicide on Wednesday. The reason behind his suicide is yet to be established, police said.

According to police, Sen had last spoken to Diksha over the phone before taking the extreme step and it was likely that couple had a fight that might have provoked Sen.
