Speculations about which event would steal the show was rife, but, we’ve just heard that Aamir has decided to push his function by around a week.

A source close to Aamir reveals, "He wanted to avoid having his event in such close succession. Aamir believes that each team deserves to promote and publicise their projects properly. He has now shifted the poster launch — a media event — to August 20. The makers had earlier decided to unveil the second look of the film on August 15."

We’re told that Aamir played a key role in having the dates of the event rescheduled. The source says, "Aamir asked the film’s team to push the event by five days, and he felt that since SRK’s first-look launch date was planned before theirs, it would only be fair to move the date of his own event."

When contacted, the spokesperson of Aamir’s film confirmed the news.
