"Witnessed phenomenal growth over the weekend. The film has performed exceptionally well at multiplexes [mind-blowing in certain circuits] and ranged from good to average at single screens, depending on the centre/circuit. The mass dominated centres also witnessed ample growth on Sunday. Collected approx Rs 47.1 cr nett in its opening weekend. Breakup: Fri 13.5 cr, Sat 15.5 cr, Sun 18.1 cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported.

The release on a non-festive weekend hasn't stopped Aamir fans from buying the film's tickets.

After Talaash grossed Rs 13.5 crore on its opening day, Aamir Khan threw an impromptu bash for the cast and crew on Friday night.
