Abhay Deol, one of the two lead actors in director Prakash Jha’s Chakravyuh, seems to be miffed with the director for playing favourites. The Dev.D (2009) actor believes that Jha is playing favourites and the favourite is Arjun Rampal. A source says, “Abhay isn’t giving his dates to promote the film. He has left for the US. He’s angry with Jha because he thinks Arjun is being preferred over him.” Arjun and Jha had worked together in Raajneeti (2010), and the actor will also be part of Jha’s future project, Satyagraha.

Ask Jha about this and he says, “I like Abhay and I had a great time working with him. But I definitely share a special bond with Arjun. I always see him in a way that is different from anyone else’s view of him.” So is he being partial towards Arjun? Prakash answers, “The roles I see Arjun enact, no one else can do them. I don’t know why it’s said that I’m being partial, but as far as the casting goes, it’s all about who fits the role best. What Abhay has done in Chakravyuh nobody else could do either. But I’ve got no problems with Abhay.”
