Ram Avatar Bhardawaj will make his debut with The Accidental Prime Minister where he plays the role of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Anupam Kher’s The Accidental Prime Minister is going that extra mile to ensure the actors playing leading political leaders look like their spitting images. If you were surprised at how much Anupam Kher looked like former prime minister Manmohan Singh, debutante actor Ram Avatar Bhardwaj turning into yet another ex PM, Atal Bihari Vajpayee would add to that feeling.

Anupam Kher shared the image in which he, as Singh, is seen meeting the actor playing Vajpayee.

Sharing the image, Anupam tweeted, “Introducing Shri. Ram Avatar Bhardawaj as former Prime Minister #AtalBihariVajpayeeji in the movie #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister.🙏😍 @TAPMofficial.”

Anupam has been sharing pictures from the movie for some time now. After revealing his own look for the film which got him appreciation for the striking resemblance to the former Congress leader, he introduced Akshaye Khanna as Sanjay Baru and Divya Seth Shah as Singh’s wife Gursharan Kaur.

Based on a book by Sanjaya Baru, a former media advisor to Manmohan Singh, the film is being directed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte. Hansal Mehta is the creative producer for the film, which is being produced by Bohra Bros. It is slated to release on December 21.
