Sanjay Leela Bhansali's sister Bela Sehgal is all set to launch singer Adnan Sami in a rib-tickler. Bela who was earlier keen on casting Adnan as a fat man had to offer him a fresh script after he lost weight.

The film is a quirky comedy about a Punjabi man’s search for a kudi who will love and look after his dear mother as only he can. Bela Sehgal, who has been editing brother Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movies so far, marks her directorial debut with the movie.

, “Bela began her journey towards direction when Adnan was grossly overweight. She wanted to cast him in the role of a fat man that she had written specially for him. But then Adnan decided he did not

want to be fat anyone. After he shed the kilos Bela had two choices. She could either sign another overweight actor (Vinay Pathak was considered). Or she could scrap the project.”

Bela found a mid way. She offered Adnan a fresh script!
