After Force, John turns action hero in Housefull 2

His acting skills may not invite much talk, but John Abraham has managed to impress producer Sajid Nadiadwala with his stunts, including lifting a 150 kg bike in Force. Apparently struck by what the actor managed to accomplish, the producer has decided to add some major action scenes in his second installment of the comedy, Housefull, directed by Sajid Khan.

Force is a cop film starring John and Genelia D’ Souza, and directed by National Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat. A source close to Nadiadwala informed that he has instructed his stunt team to chalk out a couple of challenging sequences for John.

Confirming the news, Nadiadwala says, “Housefull 2 is going to be a masala entertainer. Apart from some rib-tickling comedy, audiences will also see John do some amazing stunts, which we incorporate since fans love his action avatar.”

John replaces Arjun Rampal in the sequel. The film retains the other two male leads of the franchise—Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, but a new set of female actors —Asin Thottum-kal, Jacqueline Fernandez and Zarine Khan have replaced Deepika Paduk-one, Lara Dutta and Zia Khan of the original flick.
