Aishwarya is the ultimate Cannes Icon for Bollywood: Amy Jackson

Actor Amy Jackson says is looking forward to her second innings at Cannes Film Festival this year; says she can’t wait to see what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will wear at the festival.

Actor Amy Jackson, who will be walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20, is looking forward to the event to see how actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will look. “Aishwarya is the ultimate Cannes Icon for Bollywood and I can’t wait to see how she looks on the red carpet,” says the actor, who will walk for her English film Boogie Man, directed by Andrew Morahan. The promo of the film will be unveiled at the festival. Amy’s childhood friend Kirsty is styling her for the event.

Amy Jackson’s next film is Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0.

“I can’t wait. Last year was my first at Cannes, but this year I feel so much more prepared. It’s a full week of events, red carpets, dinners and charity galas this time. Plus, I will also be meeting the distributors of Boogie Man,”she says. In 2016, Amy made her debut at the prestigious film festival for a dinner organised by the luxury label Chopard.

Not keen to reveal much about her outfit, Amy says that she trusts Kirsty’s sensibility when it comes to deciding the look for her. “She is my best friend who knows me inside out. I love her personal style and trust her implicitly. There are outfits by Versace, Zuhair Murad, Emilio Pucci and Chanel. I am yet to try them and decide which one to finally wear,” she adds.

While at Cannes, Amy will be attending a dinner hosted by Eva Longoria on May 19 and the Positive Planet Gala dinner, which helps charities all over the world, on May 24.
