Ajay Jadeja returns to acting

Former cricketer Ajay Jadeja will soon be seen in a movie but as himself. He returns to acting in director Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. Ajay makes a cameo in the film and will be playing himself.

Former cricketer Ajay Jadeja will soon be seen in a movie but as himself. He returns to acting in director Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. Ajay makes a cameo in the film and will be playing himself. But that’s not all, Gaurav Kapoor too joins him. It seems as though all of Abhishek Kapoor’s friends have come together to help the director on his latest friendship saga.

Manish Hariprasad, creative director, studios, Disney UTV says, “We needed two commentators for the film, and since Gattu (Abhishek) has kept the tone of the film very real, he did not want to compromise on it by casting foreigners. Just a day before the shoot, he called Ajay Jadeja and Gaurav Kapoor, and we were pleasantly surprised that they agreed to shoot at such a short notice. Must say, Gattu probably has the most amazing friends, who are ready to do anything for him.”

Ajay earlier acted in Khel (2003) with Sunny Deol and Suniel Shetty and was lead in Pal Pal Dil Ke Saat (2009). He has made constant appearances on news channels as a cricket anchor/analyst. Ajay even participated in the celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in its first season and appeared on Comedy Circus as well.
