Akshay Kumar walked on his hands and did a handstand on stage as he flagged off a marathon in Mumbai.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is well known for his dedication to fitness and healthy living. In fact, he is arguably the most fit person in an industry that is known for its dedication to gymming and exercising. However, on Sunday, the PadMan actor, known for his expertise in martial arts, showcased another skill -- his ability to walk on his hands. Akshay, who is awaiting the release of R Balki’s Padman on February 9, flagged off a marathon in Mumbai as part of his film’s promotions. He did a handstand and walked on his hands onstage at the event.

Directed by R Balki, the film also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan also plays a cameo in Padman, which is based on the real life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham,who made low-cost sanitary pads.

Sharing the video, Akshay wrote, “What seems hard today, will one day be your warm-up. Keep trying #PadManPromotions #WalkForHealth #GoTakeAWalk @PadManTheFilm @SonyPicsIndia @kriarj #RBalki #9Feb2018.”

Flagging off the marathon, Akshay tweeted a video and wrote, “Happy to see a swell crowd while flagging off @MaxBupa’s #WalkForHealth. Keep walking Mumbai...not just today, everyday! @PadManTheFilm @sonamakapoor @radhika_apte @mrsfunnybones @SonyPicsIndia @kriarj #RBalki #9Feb2018.”

Padman is slated to hit theatres on February 9.
