Amitabh Bachchan visits Aishwarya Rai’s father in Lilavati hospital

Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai has been in the hospital for almost a month now. On Thursday, Amitabh Bachchan visited Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital to check on Rai.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan visited Lilavati hospital in Mumbai to meet his daughter-in-law, actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai. Aishwarya’s husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan was also seen by her side during this tough phase.

Aishwarya’s father is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. He has been hospitalised for almost a month now, but was shifted to the ICU on Tuesday. The news about her father being admitted to the hospital broke out in January, following which Aishwarya and Abhishek had to cut short their Dubai trip to ensure they are present with him.

According to reports, Krishnaraj’s condition is critical and he is on the ventilator. Ash’s father, who had undergone treatment for cancer in the past, is said to be suffering from a relapse.
