Another Kite tries to soar in American sky

New York based Indian-American filmmaker Prashant Bhargava is having the North American premiere of his new film The Kite (Patang) at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival this week.

recently celebrated its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in their Forum programme.

features award winning actor Seema Biswas. “When I first witnessed the entire city (Ahmedabad) on its rooftops, staring up at the sky, their kites duelling ferociously, dancing without inhibition, I knew I had to make this film,” Bhargava said.
