Another south siren set to storm Bollywood

Girls from south films are making a huge mark in Bollywood. Asin, Kajal, Shriya Saran are a few names that have made it big. And the latest to join the bandwagon is Mayuri.

Girls from south films are making a huge mark in Bollywood. Asin, Kajal, Shriya Saran are a few names that have made it big. And the latest to join the bandwagon is Mayuri. She has done big projects down south with actors like Rajinikanth, R Vijaykant, Prabhu, Kartik, Dr Balakrishna, Venkatesh and now has signed a Hindi film tentatively called DUA with director Hasnanin Hydrabadwala.

Hydrabadwala earlier directed the Emraan Hashmi starrer Train with Mahesh Bhatt. This film is written by Imran Akhtar, a name that is associated with box-office hits films like Thank U and Ready, and will be shot in various parts of Mumbai and Lucknow.

“I am comfortable with any south Indian language. And I do my own dubbing. In fact,I know six languages — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Hindi and English. I have thoroughly enjoyed my south experience and am all geared for my Hindi film,” comments Mayuri. The film will go on the floors by October end.
