Anurag Kashyap's community kitchen for Bombay Velvet
Anurag Kashyap, who is directing Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in Bombay Velvet, might soon be joining them in cooking on the sets. Anurag is said to be an amazing cook while Ranbir, who doesn't know cooking will assist him.
Somehow, we had the general impression that Bollywood stars always have help at hand – whether they are at home, on the sets, or out with an entourage.

Naturally, it comes as a bit of a surprise that on the sets of Anurag Kashyap’s next film in Sri Lanka,
, in Sri Lanka, doesn’t have any town in its vicinity, and is six hours away from the hotel where the cast and crew is put up. However, Anurag’s decision of having a community kitchen — where everyone pitches in to prepare a meal — has less to do with unavailability of resources, and is more of a morale-building and bonding exercise.
A source from the set informs us that, even before the stars have actually started cooking, Anurag and
’s culinary abilities have been talked about. "Anurag makes amazing butter chicken, and he will be preparing that for the crew with Ranbir assisting him, since he (Ranbir) doesn’t know much about cooking. Anushka, on the other hand, loves to bake, and is expected to pitch in as well."
