AR Rahman is taking his love for cinema and music to another level. The Oscar winning music director is now turning producer with a musical. He has even launched a production company called YM Movies.

AR Rahman is taking his love for cinema and music to another level. The Oscar winning music director is now turning producer with a musical. He has even launched a production company called YM Movies.

A source informed Mumbai Mirror, "Rahman wanted to start producing films for a long time but his busy schedule has always prevented him from doing so. He has now finally decided to take the plunge. His banner is called Y M Movies."

It appears, his first film would be made for the South.

"He plans to make films for the South to kick start his career as producer."

Well we hope Rahman makes films for Bollywood as well!
