“Initially, the film’s team was set to leave Mumbai for J&K in the first week of April, but due to the floods, plans went a bit awry. Now, the cast and crew will leave around April 15 and start shooting immediately,” says an insider.

The Kashmir schedule is going to be around 40 days long and the film will be wrapped up there. The team has already shot 70 per cent of the film in and around Mandawa, Rajasthan.

“Salman (the producer of the film), his co-stars Kareena (Kapoor Khan) and Nawazuddin (Siddiqui), along with the rest of the cast and crew are eager to finish the shoot. Both Salman and Kabir Khan (director) are clear that they want to be ready for an Eid release,” adds the insider.
