Bollywood dancer, who worked with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, commits suicide

Bollywood dancer Abhijit Shinde committed suicide at his residence. He was reportedly suffering from depression.

Bollywood dancer and rapper Abhijit Shinde, who has worked with actors such as Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn, committed suicide at his residence in Mumbai on Wednesday. Abhijit was allegedly suffering from depression ever since his wife left him months ago, according to a Mumbai Mirror report.

Abhijit Shinde, who worked with Ranbir Kapoor in the past, has committed suicide.

“Shinde’s wife had been living at her mother’s place since the past three months. She was not allowing Shinde to meet their two-year-old daughter, which upset him badly. He had been depressed over the past few days,” a police officer told the daily.

Shinde was found hanging from a ceiling fan by his neighbours. He is reported to have hanged himself early in the morning. The door of his house was open and when some neighbours went to check on him, they found him hanging. The police were immediately alerted and he was taken to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

He allegedly left a note saying the money in his bank account should go to his daughter. Police have handed over the body to his family after conducting a postmortem.
