Box office: Lipstick Under My Burkha eats into Munna Michael’s share on day 2

Munna Michael’s collections are more or less similar on the second day. It has gathered Rs 6.15 cr as compared to Rs 6.65 cr on Friday.

As we predicted earlier, the highly-praised Lipstick Under My Burkha has started to restrict Munna Michael’s free run at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted the business figures of both the films after first two days and it reveals that Lipstick Under My Burkha is getting the benefit of a positive word of mouth promotion. He says that Lipstick Under my Burkha earned Rs 2.17 crore on Saturday which is a huge jump from Friday’s Rs 1.22 crore.

Lipstick Under My Burkha’s business is likely to pick even more on Sunday.

On the other hand, Munna Michael’s collections are more or less similar on the second day. It has gathered Rs 6.15 cr as compared to Rs 6.65 cr on Friday.

It’s a bad sign for Munna Michael because normally Saturday’s figures of films are better than the opening days.

If the trend continues then Lipstick Under My Burkha may beat Munna Michael in the longer run and that will be defeat to remember for the makers of the Tiger Shroff-Nawazuddin Siddiqui film.
