Days after BJP MP Hema Malini narrowly escaped a bull attack at the Mathura Junction railway station, the station manager, KL Meena, has been suspended for allegedly failing to curb the cattle menace, an official said today. A probe has also been ordered in the incident, Sanchit Tyagi, divisional commercial manager, North Central Railway, said.
Hema Malini escaped a bull attack a few days ago.
Tyagi said the BJP MP from Mathura narrowly escaped when she was attacked by a bull at the station. She was visiting the railway station to check for the possibility of revamping the station. A video which found its way to social media shows the bull running amok at the station. As it heads towards Hema Malini, her security staff is seen surrounding her.
A new station manager has been appointed in place of Meena.
