Priyanka Chopra not part of Karan Johar and gang’s stage shows in the US

A busy Priyanka Chopra has clarified that she isn’t part of the Dream Tour, which is being led by Karan Johar and gang in the US. She might attend the finale, she adds.

Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur have been touring the US since the beginning of the month. They have been regaling their fans across five cities with their performances.

After reports about Priyanka Chopra joining the Dream Tour gang for the finale in New York emerged, the actor clarified that the news wasn’t true. (PTI)

A few days back, reports claimed that Priyanka Chopra, who is Parineeti’s cousin, was also set to join the group for the tour’s finale. This rumour sent the Bajirao Mastani star’s fans into a tizzy. But it turns out that these reports were not true.

Priyanka, who is shooting in New York for her American show Quantico, clarified that she isn’t part of the tour. She said on Twitter, “There seems to be a mistake. I’m NOT performing at the dream team concert. Will definitely try to b there to cheer on (sic).”

Not only does the actor have a huge schedule of her television show to wrap up, but she also has to attend the premiere of the series’ second season next month. Priyanka is also working on her maiden Hollywood film, which is based on the hit TV series Baywatch. A source says, “She has a packed schedule, but she plans to make it to the finale of the tour in New York. She would love to meet the gang and catch up with them.”
