Deepika Padukone is unapologetic about letting her emotional side show at a recent event where her father was honoured.
Crying doesn’t make you weak or prove your incapacity to handle emotions. It’s just your mind’s way of reassuring you that you still care about things. This is just what Deepika Padukone believes.

The actor was spotted with tears in her eyes at an event on January 29 and has explained why it’s empowering to be ‘caught in the moment’. The actor was at the presentation of Badminton Association of India (BAI)'s Lifetime Achievement Award to her father Prakash Padukone with her sister and mother when she was clicked, trying to wipe away tears.

“Don’t ever say you are sorry for ‘being caught in the moment’.Because,at that moment,that is exactly where you wanted to be”-Cody W,” she posted with the photo on late Thursday night.
Her father had thanked his family on receiving the award. “Thanks to family, parents, sibling, wife and daughters without whom I would not have become the administrator, the coach, or the person that people have known me to be. I share this award with all the other players who played with me and also with my family,” he had said.

Deepika is currently basking in the success of her latest film, Padmaavat, It has earned nearly Rs 250 crore in three weeks of its release and is now the most successful film of her career.
