Deepika Padukone’s XXX appearance not yet confirmed: Ranveer Singh

Despite DJ Curoso, the director of Vin Diesel’s XXX, confirming Deepika is starring in the film, Ranveer was guarded about her role.

American director DJ Curoso might have confirmed Deepika Padukone’s involvement in Vin Diesel-starrer XXX: The Return of Cage, but her rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh wants her fans to wait for the actress to speak about her Hollywood debut. Curoso shared on Twitter with fans that the Bajirao Mastani star would begin shooting for the movie next month.

When asked about the film, Ranveer told reporters, “I don’t think anything has been confirmed. Deepika hasn’t confirmed yet so let’s wait for it and not jump the gun.” Ranveer said even though the director confirmed about the film, it is better if Deepika comes out and says it. The actor was speaking at the red carpet of 22nd Annual Star Screen Awards.

Deepika triggered rumours of starring opposite Hollywood star Diesel when she shared a picture of herself with him. The 29-year-old actress’ Piku co-star Irrfan Khan first confirmed about the project, which would marks her big Hollywood leap.

XXX: The Return of Cage is the third instalment of the popular XXX franchise.
