The film’s story revolves around the life of the protagonist, who has to leave town and needs someone to take care of her money plant and fish. She then decides to leave the house in the care of her niece. The film is about the hilarious turn of events which take place in the house in her absence, said a statement.

Kapadia was last seen in Cocktail (2012), which featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in lead roles. This is her first film to release after the death of her estranged husband Rajesh Khanna.
