Firangi will be Kapil Sharma’s second film after Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon.

Film and TV actor Kapil Sharma has tweeted the motion poster of his next Firangi. The poster shows the Union Jack, Britain’s national flag. The poster zooms out and then we see a British soldier bending and looking into something.

We then meet Kapil Sharma in a soldier’s uniform who is angry about something. Suddenly he kicks the English soldier’s back and the name of the film appears.

The poster gives clear indication about the central idea of the film. It seems Firangi will be a film with patriotic flavour.

Kapil Sharma, who made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon (2015), has been shooting for Firangi for more than six months now. In fact, when he took a break from his reality show The Kapil Sharma Show, he said he wants to concentrate more on his film. The last few months have been tough on the comedian with many of his show’s cast members leaving him after a mid-air spat and his show going off air after speculation that he forced many of India’s top stars waiting. The show finally went off air last month but is expected to return to television screens. Kapil has said it was due to his ill health.

Firangi, which is directed by Rajiv Dhingra, also has Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in important roles.

Kapil came into limelight when he won The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3. After that he went on to do shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 and Comedy Circus before starting his popular show Comedy Nights with Kapil, under his home production.

Firangi will hit the screens on November 24, 2017.
