Genius first look: Utkarsh Sharma, Sunny Deol’s son in Gadar is all grown up now

Remember the child who played Sunny Deol’s son in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha? That kid is actually the film’s director Anil Sharma’s son. And Utkarsh Sharma is now all grown up and ready for his debut — among Bollywood biggies — with his new film Genius.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the first poster of Genius, tag-lined ‘dil ki ladai dimag se’.

Genius is directed by Anil Sharma, who recalled his son’s role in Gadar. “My son was there as Jeete in Gadar. He had gone to America for a four-year course in direction and production. Now he is ready to display his skills,” the senior Sharma said.

On Genius, he said the shooting will be completed by December this year or January next. “We are planning to release the film in the summer of 2018.”
