Actor Riteish Deshmukh turns 39 today.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who debuted in Bollywood with Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003) opposite actor Genelia D’Souza (who is now married to him), has been much-loved for his comic timing on-screen. And, many a times has been a source of rib-ticklers off-screen, too.

Born to politician late Vilasrao Deshmukh, and Vaishali Deshmukh, Riteish studied architecture and even has a degree in the field. But, he was too fascinated with the idea of becoming an actor.

After Tujhe Meri Kasam, his acting in the hit film Masti (2004) brought him the much-needed fame. He subsequently acted in comedy flicks such as Kya Kool Hain Hum (2005), Maalamaal Weekly (2006) and Housefull, Housefull 2 and 3 (2010, 2012 and 2016, respectively).

Riteish didn’t restrict himself to comedy and went on to produce Marathi action flick Lai Bhaari (2014), which remains one of the highest grossers of the Marathi film industry, till date. He also explored grey shades of his acting skills in the film Ek Villain (2014), and how! His enactment of a psycho killer, in Ek Villain, was the role that helped him break from the ’comedian’ tag. However, his humour and wit and are still sufficient to pull crowds to theatres, and gain TRPs for award shows that he is invited to host every now and then.

As Riteish turns 39 today, here are his 10 funniest movie scenes, which will definitely crack you up:
