Omkara (2006)

Saif won the heart of every critic out there with his portrayal of the much-coveted role of the jealous Iago (Langda Tyagi) in Omkara, which was an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play, Othello. His raw, almost bald look complete with earrings was more than enough to convince the audience that he is playing the baddie in the film.

Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003)

Saif played the role of a simpleton, Rohit Patel in this heart-wrenching film, which though headlined by actor Shah Rukh Khan, was noticed for Saif’s effortless performance. His clean-shaved look, complete with the clothing sense of a New York-bred young guy, gelled well with the audience.

Love Aaj Kal (2009)

Saif played a double role in the film. In the first part, he played the role of a madly-in-love Sikh man willing to do anything for his sweetheart [a character portrayed by Giselli Monteiro]. While many said he pulled off the turbaned look nicely, his boy-next-door image in the second half further rebuilt his image as the hip ‘n’ happening dude.

Go Goa Gone (2013)

Saif went all out with this one role. Blonde, slicked back hair with those ripping muscles created a hit look since the time the posters of the film were launched. His red aviators further added an edge to his personality.

Race 2 (2013)

His look in this action-thriller became his trademark style, and he can still be seen sporting the same beard in real life as his character Ranvir Singh had. The style quotient that Saif flaunted in the film has become as an extension of his own wardrobe choices.
