Here's what Kriti Sanon is doing this Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is around the corner (August 29), and siblings are looking forward to the celebrations that will take place on the day. Kriti Sanon is no different. Though the actor doesn’t have a brother, she doesn’t miss out on the opportunity to catch up with her sister, Nupur Sanon.

Raksha Bandhan is around the corner (August 29), and siblings are looking forward to the celebrations that will take place on the day. Kriti Sanon is no different. Though the actor doesn’t have a brother, she doesn’t miss out on the opportunity to catch up with her sister, Nupur Sanon.

In fact, a source close to Kriti reveals that the two celebrate Raksha Bandhan in the same manner any brother-sister duo would. “They tie rakhis to each other, and spend the day with their family,” says the source.

This year, however, there has been a change in plan. Since Kriti is busy shooting for film-maker Rohit Shetty’s next, she won’t be able to visit her home in Delhi. “So Nupur will be flying down to Mumbai, and they will have a short celebration in the city,” says the source.

When contacted, Kriti says, “Yes, my sister will be here on Raksha Bandhan. The day shouldn’t just be about a brother promising to protect his sister. Siblings could make a similar promise too, just like my sister and I have been doing since childhood.”
