I still feel I have so much to achieve and work hard for: Varun Dhawan
Actor Varun Dhawan completed four years in Bollywood last week, is grateful for the response from his fans.Updated: Oct 24, 2016 07:55 IST
Varun Dhawan began his career with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year (2012), and there has been no looking back for the young actor. He has displayed a penchant for playing diverse characters. He played a college lad in his debut, a small-town boy in the mainstream entertainer Main Tera Hero (2014), and has also managed to surprise his audiences with his rendition of a revenge-seeking widower in Badlapur (2015).
In the four years that he’s been working, most of the actor’s films have been successful at the box office. A few days ago, the hashtag, ‘#4GoldenYearsOf VarunDhawan’ started trending on social media,to celebrate the actor’s achievements and his fourth year in the industry. The actor thanked his fans, saying, “Thank you for the trend #4GoldenYearsOf VarunDhawan and the love. 4 years have gone by really fast. Will work harder for you guys #respect (sic).”
When contacted, Varun, who is currently shooting for a film in Singapore, said, “Four years have gone by too soon. I still feel I have so much to achieve and work hard for. I have been blessed that the audience has given love to all my seven films. I now want to work harder on my eighth film, which I am currently shooting for as well as on all my other films in the future to make them better and bigger for them (the audience).”
