IIFA to provide a global platform to regional cinema
The 13th IIFA Weekend kicked off with actor Shabana Azmi and Tamil thespian Kamal Hassan emphasising that the Bollywood extravaganza is widening its horizons to provide a global platform to regional cinema as well.

“Indian cinema, like our culture, is not homogenous. So IIFA is gradually trying to provide a global platform to regional cinema as well. This year it’s South,” said Azmi.
