After rolling out critically acclaimed films like Paan Singh Tomar (2012) and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2013), the hit pair of actor Irrfan Khan and director Tigmanshu Dhulia will unite once again for a project, which will be produced by Goldie Behl.
Recently, rumours were rife that the equation between the two had hit a rough patch when Irrfan opted out of Tigmanshu’s next, which is an official remake of Les Lyonnais, a 2011 French drama directed by Olivier Marchal. But it seems that the duo has buried the hatchet.
Says a source close to the production team, "The film is in the scripting stage, and the rest of the cast will be finalised soon. Goldie doesn’t want to reveal the plot just yet."
When contacted, Goldie refrains from giving out details, but confirms the news, saying, "It's too soon to talk about the film, but yes, something is in the pipeline with Tigmanshu and Irrfan. We are excited to collaborate with them."
Currently, Irrfan is busy with his international co-production with Kangana Ranaut, and will soon start working with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone too in Shoojit Sircar’s next.
