After the highs of Madras Café and Vicky Donor, looks like John Abraham’s ride in Bollywood as a new-age producer has hit a roadblock with Rocky Handsome. The film, which stars him as Kabir Ahlawat, failed to set the ticket windows on fire since its release on Friday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted the weekend figures of Rocky Handsome, and it doesn’t look good from a producer’s perspective. So far, Rocky Handsome has earned Rs 16.12 crore in the first three days of its release, including Thursday previews.
Rocky Handsome released with Hollywood biggie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice which ate up into its box office share.
Based on Korean film The Man From Nowhere, Rocky Handsome featured John Abraham as Kabir Ahlawat who doesn’t have a recorded past before 2009. The film’s director Nishikant Kamat plays the villain in the film. It received mixed reviews from the critics with mostly praising its action sequences.
