Kangana Ranaut or Hrithik Roshan: Who will win this time?

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Saturday that Kangana Ranaut-starrer Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi has got a release date—January 25, 2019.

He said, “Mark the date: #Manikarnika -The Queen Of Jhansi to release on 25 Jan 2019 [Republic Day]... Stars Kangna Ranaut... Directed by Krish... Produced by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain.”

Incidentally, this is also the release date of Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30, a biopic on Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar. Given the controversy surrounding Kangana and Hrithik, it’s going to be the clash of the year for 2019.

Kangana and Hrithik are at loggerheads since 2016 when she alleged referred to him as her ‘silly ex’.

Hrithik and Kangana’s legal notice mess was probably the dirtiest squabble ever over a love affair gone wrong in Bollywood. Reports said that Hrithik and Kangana allegedly started dating when they were working together on Krrish 3.

Hrithik was still married to Sussanne at that point but the marriage was apparently troubled. However, once Kangana realised that Hrithik had no plans to divorce his wife, Kangana put a stop to their relationship, reported Deccan Chronicle.

Soon the couple’s divorce was publically announced. While there is no clarity whether the Krrish 3 co-stars’ romance led to Hrithik’s divorce, the Bang Bang star and Kangana were apparently back together after the announcement. Reports say that Hrithik even asked Kangana to marry him. Hrithik, through his tweets and legal notice, firmly denies that there was any relationship between the two at all.

They were together till the end of 2014 but something went wrong again.

In a TV show, Kangana recently alleged that she had a relationship with Hrithik and they broke up in 2013. And that after the success of her film, Queen, Hrithik started chasing her again.

They later indulged in a legal war which is continued till date.

Now, with their films coming out on the same date, they would probably have to answer the same set of questions all over again.
