.
Informs an insider who has had a dekko at the song, "Kareena is clearly inspired by the western musical here. The costumes, props, set pieces, lighting and the swaying dance moves, just about everything in the choreography of this song is on the same lines as that of
."
Released a decade ago, the Richard Gere starrer musical didn't actually bear the same storyline as
. However, director Madhur Bhandarkar couldn't really get the visuals off his mind and when the moment came to create a title track for Heroine, he didn't hesitate one bit on looking westwards for the inspiration.
"The song is titled '
' and Kareena has never looked more stunning than this. In fact, this is the most uninhibited Kareena that one has seen on the big screen. Expect audience fantasies to go wild as the song is in an altogether unexplored and different zone. While '
' was massy, '
' is classy", the insider continues.
When contacted, Madhur didn't deny getting inspired from the West. "Films like Chicago or for that matter
are textbooks when it comes to Western musicals. I wanted to lend a distinct touch to '

', we have created an altogether different world for Kareena", he says.
Hope she has liked it.
