Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who is currently shooting for Sajid Khan's Housefull 2 in London, had to be rushed to hospital after he complained of severe pain in stomach.



After the pain intensified, Mithun was hospitalized. "On Monday, he suddenly complained of a stomach ache. He thought something he ate must not have agreed with him. Since he wasn't required for the shoot, we asked him to rest it out. Mithunda is not a fussy person at all. So when he complained, we knew it was serious," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the news. "Yes, Mithunda did have a bit of a setback yesterday. He had to be admitted to the hospital. But he is fine now. He's resting and recuperating in the hotel," he told the tabloid.



However, it was nothing serious and he is fine now. "It was nothing to be alarmed about. My father only had a bout of gastric trouble. He was in the hospital for a day, but has been discharged now. The shooting of Housefull 2 is over and he will return in a couple of days," informed Mithun's son Mahaakshay.
