My team needed a break from their arduous schedule: John Abraham

Actor John Abraham recently organised a screening of Force 2 especially for his football team based in Guwahati.

John Abraham, apart from being a Bollywood actor and a producer, is also the owner of a football team. Recently, the actor was in Guwahati, Assam, to meet the players of his team. Apparently, he arranged a special screening of his latest film Force 2 (co-starring Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin) for them and the team’s management as well.

John Abraham says his football team was happy to see Force 2.

“John’s football team is based in Guwahati. The team is currently participating in a league. The actor had specially flown to the city amidst his hectic schedule only to meet the players. John is extremely passionate about the sport and takes part in everything that concerns the team. He had organised a screening of his film so that they could take some time off from the hectic training schedules,” says a source, adding, “He interacts with the players as often as he can. He makes sure to spend time with them to boost their morale and encourage them. John has also roped in a Brazilian coach to train the team.”

Apparently, the Shootout At Wadala (2013) actor tries to attend most of the matches that he can. At times, he also joins the team members during their training sessions as he enjoys playing the sport with them.

When contacted, John confirmed the news and said, “My team needed a break from their arduous schedule and they were happy to see the movie. The foreign players also enjoyed it a lot.”
